We cannot receive pension unless we submit a bill of arbitrage, but we can receive the pension by dating back to 5 years even if we are late for requesting. However, we cannot receive it before that. Please be careful about it.
As for survivor’s annuity, in case of national pension, people cannot receive the survivor’s annuity unless they have a child under 18 years old, and those over 65 years old who are qualified to receive the pension are eligible to receive solely either basic pension or national pension
In case of welfare pension, those over 65 years old who are qualified to receive the pension are eligible to receive both survivor’s welfare pension and old-age basic pension. However, people must select which is larger by comparing receiving these pension and receiving old-age welfare pension old age basic pension.
